Lytton Park, like so many other neighbourhoods in Toronto, is experiencing unprecedented redevelopment – big and small – in the form of single-family dwelling renovations, infill construction (replacing a detached house with a newly built detached structure or a series of townhomes), condominium and mixed-used buildings. LPRO monitors all large-scale developments – multi-story buildings and townhomes in a series – within and just outside our boundaries. We liaise with residents, developers, the City’s Planning and Legal departments, other City staff, councillors and other residents’ associations to try to ensure that the development process is transparent and that our community’s interests and concerns are voiced in a timely way throughout what is often a lengthy process.
